the bed of procrustes, again - it's a bathroom book in the most respectful sense. working through venkatesh rao's back catalog properly instead of pretending i already have. too many market letters.

heavy week after a deliberate lake week. i'm chasing the world record for pull-ups off a helicopter. got close once - then i picked up mma, and chasing both at the same time cut both short. the elbow and i have reached an understanding. the title is still out there.
chasing
a publish cadence i don't hate. one clean quarter of sundays. the answer to which of the things i run is the headline - i've stopped pretending that question is urgent, but it's open.

a loft with good bones in south williamsburg. hosting more than i used to - the after-party has a home field now.
